Project Spotlight: The Leith Agency

We’re delighted to announce our recently completed project with award-winning creative agency, Leith! Located in Commercial Quay, Edinburgh, Leith Agency was completely transformed into a hub of ambition and creativity. In collaboration with designer Jordan McCaffery, partner at HKSD, our team used their expert knowledge to create a stylish and stimulating workspace.

“Working with the Bureau team couldn’t have been easier. Their attention to detail and problem-solving ability was second to none. I would definitely recommend them going forward” - Richard Marsham, Group Managing Partner

Reflecting the creativity of the marketing and advertising industry was an important element in the transformation of Leith Agency’s office environment. Developing a relaxing yet inspirational office space was achieved by not only combining vibrant and exciting colours, but also through different themed working areas. Mixing a raw, industrial design style with vibrant colours allowed for a playful, yet professional aesthetic to evolve during the process.

“The Bureau team were able to use their extensive furniture expertise to help create a package that was in line with my aspirations for the space, as well as meet our required budget. Working to tight timescales, they were able to have everything on site and installed within the deadline” - Jordan McCaffery, Partner HKSD.

By curating expertly crafted pieces from Workstories, Hitch Mylius, Frovi and Solidkit, Bureau shaped a unique and eclectic workspace for one of Edinburgh boldest agencies. The Hitch Mylius Sofa featured in the open plan reception area, was upholstered in a botanical forest green and rested on dark stained solid beech runners. Also located in the reception area is the bespoke Solidkit Reception Desk, which is a key piece in the project due to its concrete finishing and raw reclaimed scaffolding board, making it the perfect choice for the office space.

Bold and vibrant, the Hitch Mylius Meeting Chair combines pattern and colour to create a statement piece that injects a playful energy into the neutral meeting room. With the powder grey and black patterned upholstery held in place by a bright yellow frame, Leith Agency’s request of a vibrant industrial yet inspiring aesthetic was achieved. Designed to encourage socialising and collaboration between employees, the breakout area features a bright and playful Frovi Bench Seating System, perfect for Leith’s bold and quirky brand identity.

“With the growing competitive market and importance of talent attraction and retention, the Leith Agency wanted to create an environment that was inspiring for staff as well as allowing them to collaborate efficiently.” – Alex Cox, Bureau’s Regional Sales Manager
