Project Spotlight: Umega Lettings
Focus on standards and service brought Umega Lettings the top awards for the Residential Letting Team of the Year at the 2018 Scottish Home Awards, AND the Herald Property Awards for Scotland.
Determined to create an outstanding place to work and to retain the best talent in their field, Umega appointed HKSD to design their new office space in the stylish Quartermile area of Edinburgh. Having worked together on previous projects, HKSD had confidence in Bureau’s ability to deliver the upmarket, contemporary look they had designed, within the budget provided.
“From our first meeting Bureau was able to recommend the best type of furniture meeting both of our needs. To match the style of our office and to create vibrant/cool spaces for our superstar team. We can truly say that this has been achieved! Their friendliness, efficiency, design expertise and approachability made things move fast and at ease and took all the stress away of moving office. Thank you for this!”
Maintaining High Standards
Committed to success in their industry, the first impression for Umega’s customers is all important to the business. High standards in their office space convey the high standards of their rental properties and ensure trust and confidence.
A Welcoming Reception
Visitors are greeted at the entrance with a welcoming reception area including a seating area for guests and workspace for employees. An open shelving unit behind the desk can be dressed with plants and accessories to provide a softer home-from-home feel against the raw industrial ‘defurbished’ space.
Formal and Informal Spaces
The main workspace area allows for ease of communication between teams. Convenient locker space ensures the office remains clutter free to create a positive impression for visitors.
An informal meeting space with high tables and stools provides teams with a relaxed, break-out space to get together as well as creating a different working height zone.
Additional meeting rooms allow for privacy or for quiet, focused thinking.
