Award-winning, Swiss headquartered law firm LALIVE, set up their first office in London last year. The firm, which specialises in international dispute resolution, has offices in Geneva and Zurich and expanded its European footprint by opening an office in the UK capital.
LALIVE appointed the Bureau team to provide furniture consultancy for the 3,000 sq ft office working alongside Studio Eleven Interiors as the design and build contractor. A sleek, warm and welcoming space was required, with attention paid to the need for both collaborative and private areas. With a consultative approach, Bureau sourced furniture for a contemporary style with a nod to mid-century modern classics.
USM storage, which LALIVE previously used in their Swiss offices, was incorporated as a practical element, but also for delineation of the open plan area in the main office and reception. The multi-purpose, Haller shelving units provide a substantial amount of document and personal storage, whilst also subtly dividing the space.
Vitra Eames chairs were chosen for the elegant meeting rooms, with stunning arched windows, requiring complementary, stylish furniture.
For the lounge area, colourful Orangebox Avi high back chairs and a Joe occasional table create a comfortable and striking focal point for visitors to the office. Additional pops of colour were introduced with the Allermuir Haven benches in the informal break out space.
Bringing ergonomic comfort to the main office, Albion sit-stand work desks were paired with Viasit drumback chairs and Knoll Generation task chairs.
We are delighted with the transformation from an empty shell to a sophisticated and contemporary office space. The interior design reflects many of the components conducive to an uplifting and productive working environment, and this has been achieved through Bureau’s consultative approach.
